Welcome to the Washington County Users Group Blog
The Washington County PAF (Personal Ancestral File) Users Group is a non-profit, non-denominational group dedicated to assist, instruct, and empower its members to be more effective in the exciting and important activity of building personal, family and ancestral histories. We emphasize the use of computers to find, organize, and share ancestral information.
We encourage, teach, and personally assist members in the use of Personal Ancestral File and other software programs and resources as genealogical organizational tools. We teach and provide instructionial materials on a variety of electronic genealogical research aids.
Monthly meetings are held every month, except for August, on the 3rd Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to noon and are held at the Latter-day Saint Morningside Stake Center on 9th South and River Road in St. George, Utah.
WC-PAF Users Group funding comes from dues and receives no financial support from the LDS Church other than being allowed to meet in their building.
